Hiring wedding bands: your questions
How early should I book a wedding band?
As early as you can for peak wedding season (roughly November to February) and popular muhurat dates, because the best bands are booked first. Send your enquiry as soon as your date is fixed.
Can a band play at a hotel with sound limits?
Many hotels set sound limits and cut-off times for outdoor functions. Tell us the venue and we'll suggest bands that can play a softer or acoustic set when needed.
Will a band travel for a destination wedding?
Each profile shows where the band is based and the places it says it travels to. Mention your venue and city in the enquiry; travel and stay costs, if any, are shown in the quote.
Can the band play during the pheras or ceremony?
Some bands offer a soft, devotional set for the ceremony and switch to a full set later. Mention the functions you want covered and we'll check.
Do wedding bands take song requests?
Most do. Share a list of must-play songs and the songs to avoid, and the band will plan around them.
Can we book one band for several functions?
Yes. Many families book the same band for the sangeet and reception, which can work out better value. Ask for a combined quote.
