Why book a punjabi band?
Live dhol changes the energy of any function in seconds. It's the classic choice for a baraat entry, a mehndi or a sangeet that needs the dance floor full.
Dhol players also combine well with a DJ: the DJ keeps the music going and the dhol lifts the big moments.
Tell us the function and how big the crowd is, and we'll send acts that match the energy you want.

Hiring Punjabi and dhol acts: your questions
Do I need a full band or just dhol players?
For a baraat entry or a short burst of energy, two to four dhol players are enough. For a whole sangeet evening, a Punjabi band or dhol with a DJ works better.
Can dhol players join the DJ?
Yes, dhol with a DJ is a popular combination. Tell us if you've already booked a DJ.
Do they play outdoors?
Yes, dhol works indoors and outdoors. Check your venue's sound rules for late functions.
Can dhol players walk with the baraat?
Yes, they usually move with the procession. Tell us the route length and timing.
Do Punjabi bands sing as well?
A Punjabi band includes singers and musicians; dhol players usually only play. Tell us which you're looking for.
Are dhol players suitable for indoor venues?
Yes, though dhol is loud. Check with your venue, especially for late functions.
