MusicBajaao ("MusicBajaao", "we") runs this website to help people find and contact music performers, and to help performers get bookings. We do not take payments. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, mobile number, event type and date, city, and any details you add (budget, guests, venue, notes).
- Performer applications: your name, act name, performer type, city, mobile number, team size, genres, prices and profile links.
- Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email.
- Website use: if analytics are enabled, basic information such as pages visited, device type, approximate location and the ad or link that brought you here, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Performance videos: videos on performer profiles are hosted by YouTube. The video picture is loaded from YouTube, and the player loads only when you press play; YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the video.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and suggest suitable performers.
- To share your event details with performers you're considering, so they can confirm availability and quote.
- To share the agreed booking details with you and the performer on WhatsApp.
- To review performer applications and promote listed performers.
- To improve the website and measure which ads and links work.
Consent
By submitting a form or messaging us, you consent to us using your data for these purposes. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; we will stop using your data, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Who we share it with
- Performers relevant to your enquiry, and customers you've agreed to perform for.
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as Google (form storage and analytics), Meta (WhatsApp and ad measurement) and our website host. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, and longer only where tax or other laws require it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. You can also raise a grievance with us. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Security
We limit access to your data to people who need it to serve you, and use reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
