Hiring rock bands: your questions
What does a rock band need from the venue?
Usually a stage or flat area for five or six people, a few power points close by, and a PA if the band doesn't bring one. Share your venue details and we'll confirm exactly what each band needs.
Can a rock band play Bollywood songs?
Many do. Bollywood rock covers and medleys are popular at fests and corporate nights. Tell us the mix you want.
How long does a rock band usually play?
Most bands offer a 60 to 90 minute set, or two sets with a break. Longer shows are possible and are priced in the quote.
Do rock bands bring their own sound system?
Some do; others need the venue or organiser to provide a PA and backline. Every quote says what's included.
Can they play an original set?
Many bands play their own songs alongside covers. Tell us if you'd prefer covers only.
Is a sound check needed?
Yes, usually an hour or so before the show. Plan stage time for it in your schedule.
