Rising Talent: a fair start for new musicians
New bands and enthusiastic musicians deserve a stage. On MusicBajaao, new acts can list free with no booking history needed, and Rising Talent shows the newest acts first.
Be one of our first performers
New bands and musicians can list free, with no booking history needed. Profiles appear here newest first, with their own videos, music and prices.
Profile labels, and the levels to come
For now, profiles show only two labels, and only when they're true.
- Verified
Verified by MusicBajaao
Our team has checked this act. The profile lists exactly what was checked, such as performance videos, the lineup or a phone number.
- New on MusicBajaao
New on MusicBajaao
Joined in the last 90 days. New acts are shown first in Rising Talent.
Levels: coming later
Once there are real bookings and reviews, acts will move through these levels. They'll be based only on evidence MusicBajaao has verified, never on how long an act has been listed, how many enquiries it gets or what it charges. The same rules will apply to everyone.
- Emerging
Emerging Artist
New to MusicBajaao. Every new act starts here, with no booking history needed.
- Rising
Rising Artist
At least 3 confirmed bookings, 2 or more verified reviews and an average of 4.0 or higher.
- Established
Established Artist
At least 10 confirmed bookings, 5 or more verified reviews and an average of 4.3 or higher, or a track record outside MusicBajaao that our team has checked (references, past events and years performing).
- Top Performer
Top Performer
At least 25 confirmed bookings through MusicBajaao, 15 or more verified reviews, and an average rating of 4.7 or higher.
What counts as verified
- Bookings made through MusicBajaao and confirmed by our team
- Reviews from customers who booked the act
- A checked track record: references and past events our team has confirmed
What doesn't count
- How long an act has been listed
- The number of enquiries it gets
- Its price, or what it pays (listing is free)
- Claims we haven't checked. Those are shown as "self-reported".

Rising Talent: your questions
Listing, levels and fairness.
Do I need past bookings to be listed?
No. New acts can be listed with no booking history. Send a performance video and your details, and we'll set up your profile.
When will levels start?
Once there are real, confirmed bookings and reviews to base them on. Until then profiles show only two labels: Verified and New on MusicBajaao. The level rules are written on this page now, so you can see the path.
Does a higher level mean a higher price?
No. You always set your own prices. A level will never change them.
Do established bands get an advantage?
No. Joining earlier doesn't count, and neither does the number of enquiries. Rising Talent shows the newest acts first, so every newcomer gets a turn at the front.
What's the difference between verified and self-reported?
Verified means our team has checked it, and each profile lists exactly what was checked. Self-reported means the performer told us, like the year they started performing, and we label it that way.
Does it cost anything?
Listing is free. We charge no commission or fees.
